In the first week of October, there was a significant revival in the market for export railway shipments at most borders, except for the Polish border, where the number of wagons transferred dropped to 44.83 wagons per day. The situation remained stable at 53.67 wagons per day at the Romanian border. In contrast, there was a substantial increase in volumes at the Hungarian border, rising by 70% to 55.34 wagons per day. The Slovak border also showed significant growth, up 43%, with a figure of 42.83 wagons per day. Overall, the average daily wagon transfer across all borders increased by 26%, reaching 260 wagons daily.

The number of wagons moving towards the ports also increased, reaching 5,818 units. The average daily wagon unloading rate grew by 16%, totaling 1,193 wagons per day. There was a 20% increase in wagons accumulating at the port of Izmail, reaching 715 units, with an average daily unloading rate of 84 wagons per day. This volume increase contributed to a rise in rates for domestic railway transportation by an average of $1 compared to the previous period.
