In the first 9 days of June, Ukraine exported 76.7 thousand tonnes of agricultural products by road transport, which is 13.1% less compared to the same period in May. Nearly all border crossing points recorded a decline in shipment volumes.
The most significant drop occurred on the Moldovan route, where exports decreased by 26.4% to 12.2 thousand tonnes. Meanwhile, volumes through the Romanian, Slovak, and Hungarian border crossings increased by 18–21%. During this period, 16.2 thousand tonnes of agri-products were transported via the Romanian checkpoint, 3.6 thousand tonnes via the Slovak one, and 8.4 thousand tonnes via the Hungarian crossing.
Exports through the Polish border remained nearly unchanged, amounting to 36.3 thousand tonnes.
Key export commodities during the reporting period included sunflower oil (9.5 thousand tonnes) and poultry meat (4.7 thousand tonnes).
Domestic freight rates for road transport decreased by $2–3 per tonne. On European routes, transportation costs for curtain-sided trucks declined, while prices for tipper trucks remained largely stable.
