UKRAINE
- From April 1 to April 9, Ukraine exported the following volumes of grains, oilseeds, and their processed products: corn – 433.2 thousand tons, wheat – 252.7 thousand tons, barley – 19 thousand tons, soybeans – 94 thousand tons, rapeseed – 10 thousand tons, sunflower seeds – 0.4 thousand tons, sunflower oil – 150.8 thousand tons, soybean oil – 11.8 thousand tons, and oilseed meal (soybean and sunflower) – 125.6 thousand tons.
- As of April 10, the following spring crops have been planted in Ukraine: spring wheat – 141.1 thousand hectares, spring barley – 612.2 thousand hectares, sunflower – 51.5 thousand hectares, and soybeans – 4.5 thousand hectares.
WORLD
- Trump lowered import tariffs to 10% for all countries for a 90-day period, but simultaneously increased pressure on China by raising tariffs to 125% in response to China’s 84% duties.
- The EU postponed the implementation of import tariffs on U.S. goods—originally scheduled to take effect on April 15—by 90 days.

CORN
Corn prices on the Ukrainian domestic market have resumed growth. Over the past week, old crop prices increased to $228–230/ton DAP port, driven by stronger demand from traders needing to cover previously committed contracts, which boosted their purchasing activity.
New crop corn also gained in value, trading at $204–206/ton DAP ports.

WHEAT
The wheat market is seeing a rise in old crop grain prices. Food-grade wheat is increasing most actively, as extremely low stocks have significantly boosted demand. Traders and processors are competing for high-quality grain. Feed wheat prices are also trending upward, but less actively.
New crop prices have remained mostly unchanged. 11.5% protein wheat was traded at $214–216/ton DAP ports, while feed wheat was at $202–204/ton DAP.

RAPESEEDS
April frosts in Eastern Europe and specifically in Ukraine have raised concerns among rapeseed producers, as they may have adversely affected crop conditions, thereby creating uncertainty regarding the potential yield.

SUNFLOWER
The decline in global sunflower oil prices has led to a drop in sunflower seed prices in Ukraine. Over the past week, prices have decreased by an average of 500–700 UAH/ton. Additional pressure comes from the fact that most processors are already covered with raw materials through the end of April.
On the spot market, sunflower oil fell to $1105–1115/ton DAP port.
In recent weeks, the market has shifted direction several times — from upward to downward — which reinforces a sense of instability.

SOYBEANS
A price discrepancy is observed on the soybean market. While prices at port facilities remain stable, processing plants are increasing their purchasing prices due to strong demand, particularly for GMO soybeans.
